All Vanquish boats share characteristics which are not up for discussion: a high-performance engine and comfortable facilities to match the high-speed excitement. The hull and underwater ship are tried and tested, adapted in length to suit each owner’s preferences. Vanquish clients love the flexibility we offer to build one-offs in aluminium, creating a boat that perfectly suits their definition of pleasure.
It is a common error in our industry for people to think that custom boats are more expensive than series production vessels made from a mould. The investment required in those moulds is enormous and because they are meant to be reproduced in large numbers, a huge marketing budget is needed. This is all reflected in the final price and often makes a series boat more expensive than a custom one.
Meanwhile, at Vanquish we have perfected the custom boatbuilding process to an ultra-efficient level. We can promise you an impressive price-quality ratio as well as an unrivalled amount of choice when it comes to changing the layout and facilities.
One of our VQ43s has an outdoor galley at the request of the owner. The owner of one of our VQ50s requested a tender garage to starboard, and his wish was our command.
Another client loves the elegant lines of the VQ48 but wanted to store a dingy in the aft of the boat… so we added six feet to the length!
One of the most striking aspects of every Vanquish boat is that all features and details are handcrafted in aluminium. Everything is thought through in terms of design, functionality and convenience, optimising your experience. Examples include the seats, navigation lights, cup holders, cleats, fender storage, swimming ladder and speakers. All feel exceptionally solid and durable, while the choice for aluminium means there is no plastic on board a Vanquish yacht, adding an eco-conscious element too. Even the distinctive steering wheel – the inspiration for our logo – is hand-built in aluminium at our boutique yard.
Non-conformist thinking is in the genes of the Vanquish Yachts team – it’s what we do best. Leveraging on a passion for design and engineering, we love working with owners who think outside the box. Join us in the delicate art of bespoke boatbuilding and we promise you’ll enjoy the journey.
